David has 40 years of commercial real estate experience specializing in industrial real estate in the Greater Toronto area concentrating in the west end.  David's real estate background is diverse and includes: Design/Build Lease and Purchase transactions - Building, Land and Re-development Property Sales and Leasing - Tenant Representation - Site Analysis/Strategic Planning - Database Development and Management. 

David regularly partners withRyan Thomson,  Brennan Eastmure, Matt Albertine and Ben Williams in the Toronto West Office and has successfully and collaboratively done so for the past 10 years.  Together, they have  full time assistants in Linda Liu and Monica Gauthier.  Known as the GTA West Industrial Team, they have excelled in high level client service, satisfaction and brokerage performance.

David’s commitment to, and performance in, the market has earned him membership of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), an international body of real estate practitioners with a common requirement of excellence.   David sits on SIOR's Worldwide Executive Committee as a member of the Professional Standards Committee.  Finally, David was SIOR's Regional Director for Canada for 2010/2011.  

David and his wife live in Oakville with their 2 children, ages 29 and 26. 

Accomplishments

David is a consistent top-level achiever whose performance consistently places him in the Top 20 Professionals within Colliers International annually, including 2021.  Most recently, David was nominated as Colliers' 2021 SIOR Broker of the Year.  David was similarily  recogized as SIOR Industrial Broker of the Year Runner-up for 2013 and 2011.  In addition, David represented Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Canada in a design/build lease that was awarded the NAIOP Industrial Development of the Year award in 2011. 

David was Chairman of the United Way of Oakville Golf Tournament in 2005/2006/2007, regularly volunteers at Yonge Street Mission and Kerr Street Ministries and is a strong supporter of Yonge Street Mission, Salvation Army, Casey House, Covenant House and ArtHouse (all supporting at risk and harmed youth). 

David is also a regular blood donor (every 2 months) to Canadian Blood Services (91 donations to date - Feb/22).

Education

David obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario (London, ON) in 1982 (now Western University).  Prior to Western, David was educated at Crescent School in Toronto from Grade 7 - 13.
