Strong market fundamentals continued to uphold pricing and attract capital to the GTA multi-family sector this quarter.
Multi-family transaction volumes have now reached $1.63B YTD in Toronto. To put this number in perspective, 2018 was the first year on record where volumes exceeded $2B, and at our current rate we will surpass this threshold once again. This is a result of strong fundamentals in multifamily attracting capital at a time when uncertainty plagues other asset classes and other geographies.
