Great Victoria investment sales totaled over $1 billion for assets over $1 million. The retail and multi-family sectors experienced significant investor interest by institutional investors and REITS in 2019.

  • Over 50% of total sales volume were comprised of multi-family sales. The demand for newly built apartment buildings increased in 2019 especially in the Western communities. 
  • The retail sector comprised of 17% of total investment sales which consisted of two large purchases from Institutional investors and REITS.
