The Hotel is ideally located in the City of Burnaby, which is bordered by Vancouver to its west, Canada’s most sought-after real estate market, and occupies a prime location being directly across from the Metrotown SkyTrain station, with direct access to Metropolis at Metrotown, the largest shopping complex in British Columbia and the third largest mall in Canada. The Offering was highly sought after given the Property's attractive location, proven operational strength and excellent complement of facilities. The Hotel was ultimately sold to an affiliate of Anthem Properties, given the strategic nature of the investment due to their ownership of Station Square. Anthem is a leading real estate development, investment and management company with a substantial portfolio of residential, commercial and land under its umbrella.
