Vancouver, BC, September 10, 2020 – Colliers International announced today that Scott Bowden has recently been promoted to Head of Valuations and Advisory Services, Canada. In addition to his current responsibilities as Managing Director of BC, Scott will oversee and lead a high-performing team of valuation and tax managers, professionals, and appraisers across the country.

During his 11 years at Colliers, Scott has been integral to the growth of the Valuations practice group. As an analyst, he honed his expertise in appraisals and in 2011, he was promoted to Head of the Property Tax group in BC to reestablish the practice. In 2018, he became Managing Director of BC, where he has grown revenue by 66 per cent since taking on the role.

“We’re thrilled that Scott will be leading the national Valuations and Advisory Services team,” says Brian Rosen, President and CEO of Colliers Canada. “His commitment to Colliers is evident, as is his investment in the success of his team. I have every confidence in his ability to steer the Valuations and Advisory practice to new heights as we navigate an evolving real estate sector.

In his new role as Head of Valuations and Advisory Services, Scott will work directly with the Colliers Canada Leadership Team to implement a growth strategy that solidifies Colliers’ top industry position. In particular, he will be responsible for growing the Valuations and Advisory Services offering and working with other business lines to develop integrated client solutions that leverage the firm’s expertise, scale and resources.

“Colliers has given me incredible opportunities to develop my career and I’m excited for this next chapter,” says Scott. “I look forward to building our team out across Canada, strengthening client relationships through innovative solutions, and always delivering excellent service.”
