John has over 18 years of property management and leasing experience in the province of Quebec.  Working for companies such as Invanhoe-Cambridge, Cogir, Triovest, and Calloway REIT, John has managed every real estate asset class in the Montreal market including Class A commercial office properties, loft-style office and industrial space as well as enclosed shopping and power outlet centers. John oversees the management of real estate management services (REMS) accounts in the province of Quebec.     

John focuses his energy on providing the best possible customer service experience to his colleagues and clients. He lead the team to re-position , the historic Nordelec property, a 1 million square foot property located in the heart of the Montreal core. This included the implementation of a comprehensive leasing and marketing platform, the wholesale conversion from industrial to loft-style office space entire floor plates, to increase economies of scale and capture higher market face rates.

He participated in the Montreal Leasing Forum 2010 as a Presenter on the Strategic re-positioning of industrial spaces in the office market; and in the 2011 Montreal Leasing Forum as a Presenter on Managing Risk Issues during the lease negotiation process.

John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from McGill University in 1988. He received his real estate broker license in 2009.  He is currently enrolled in the HarvardManageMentor(HMM) - Level 2, as part of Colliers' Management Development Program in partnership with Harvard. John is also a Real Estate Broker in good standing.
