The Fraser Valley continues to see high levels of development as the plans for the Surrey LRT move forward. Surrey is growing and quickly becoming the hub of the Fraser Valley – and the City of Surrey is making changes to shape it into an outstanding destination by implementing strategic land-use concepts.
The Q2 report delves further into the potential land-use concepts for the future Guildford Town Centre – 104 Avenue plan. The City of Surrey presented two unique concepts; Focused Growth and Dispersed Growth – which are further explored in the Fraser Valley Market Update. With approximately 1,000 new residents landing in Surrey each month, the need for long-term plans are essential.
