Colliers participates in the Pedal for Kids 2017 fundraiser

Colliers International raises $19,135 by pedaling on a Mighty Bike

On Friday June 16, Colliers Montreal participated in the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation's annual Pedal for Kids fundraiser. This event collects funds to benefit sick children treated at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

The Colliers Canada team, named Colliers and Friends, consisted of Colliers Canada Montreal office employees, along with their clients. All thirty members of the team joined together on the Mighty Bike and pedaled through Montreal’s downtown core to raise money for children in need.

This year, we are proud to have collectively raised $19,135; ranking Colliers and Friends in sixth place out of the 26 teams that took part in the event.

Since 1992, the Pedal for Kids fundraiser has collected nearly $12 million to put towards purchasing cutting-edge equipment, administering new specialized treatments, researching new ways of fighting diseases, and providing innovative training for nurses and doctors. This year, renovating the hospital playground is also on the docket for the foundation.

Colliers Canada is extremely proud to be involved in and support events like this that have a direct positive impact on the community; in this case, the support and awareness for pediatric healthcare. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this worthwhile cause!
