On June 19, Colliers Victoria raised over $52,000 during Scourges & Scallywags, the 26th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, with proceeds going to the BC Cancer Foundation as part of a five-year fundraising agreement.

Held once again at the Cordova Bay Golf Course, Colliers Victoria hosted nearly 120 clients and vendors to the pirate-themed event. Guests were invited to 'pirate up' at the (temporary) tattoo parlour, posed with a blow-up parrot in the by-donation photo booth, tried their luck in a coconut toss game, and laughed as guest auctioneer Wayne Ford of Jawl Developments hosted the live auction in full pirate costume.

The charity golf tournament is one of Colliers Victoria's largest annual events. Held the third Thursday in June, the tournament has previously fundraised for such charities as The Boys & Girls Club, Junior Achievement and BC Children's Hospital Foundation.

Now in the third year of a five-year sponsorship agreement with BC Cancer Foundation, Colliers Victoria has raised over $185,000 to-date for the BC Cancer Foundation's Inspire the World campaign.
