Albert has been with Colliers since February 1997 and has been instrumental in providing marketing and research services to office owners and users, both domestic and foreign, for more than nineteen years. This includes the development of strategic marketing and research programs for “A” class office buildings as well as formulating effective leasing strategies for tenants in locating suitable office space and/or disposing of their existing premises. Albert recently rejoined Colliers Toronto after having relocated to Miami in September 2008 to work with the Colliers affiliate office there.
In 1987 Albert graduated from Trent University on Scholarship with an Honours Degree in Political Science as part of the Regular Officer Training Program of the Canadian Armed Forces. Upon graduation Albert underwent jet pilot training in the Air Force and thereafter worked as a Public Affairs Officer. In 1991 he moved to Berlin, Germany where he worked five years as a commercial real estate marketing specialist, in which he assisted clients in accomplishing their real estate leasing and investment objectives. Upon his return he joined Colliers International.
