The Oceanfront British Colonial Properties
Colliers International has been retained by British Colonial Property Holdings Limited, a joint venture involving European investors and a Canadian pension fund (the “Vendor”), to act as its international advisor in connection with the sale of the British Colonial Properties in Nassau, Bahamas.
The oceanfront British Colonial Properties includes the 288-room Hilton British Colonial, approximately 105,000 square feet of Class A office space and 6.1 acres of prime development land overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Situated in downtown Nassau, the property occupies the finest location at One Bay Street, near business and leisure demand generators. The Hotel has been coined the “Jewel of the Caribbean” given its iconic symbolism in Nassau, having originally been built in 1898 by Henry Flagler. The Hotel is also a popular venue for royalty and other celebrity guests, and has served as a filming location for the James Bond movies “Never Say Never Again” and Thunderball.
