The Belmont Building, originally constructed in 1912 is a heritage building situated on Victoria’s most prominent corner coming off the Inner Harbour. The building has been certified BOMA BESt Level 2 for its demonstrated excellence in energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. The seven (7) floors above are occupied by long term office tenants.
Victoria’s Inner Harbour and the surrounding blocks are the most visited areas by tourists year round. The area surrounding the Belmont Building is home to high end retailers, hip restaurants and cafes, and numerous boutique shops. The Victoria Conference Centre is two blocks away, also bringing in year round visitors.
The area is also frequented year round due to the high concentration of shops, restaurants and cafes that have become staples to the downtown daytime population.
